Two Join Siemens Building Technologies Division

Boston – Siemens recently announced that Meghan Duggan and Scott Redfern have joined the Boston branch of its building technologies division to support the company’s clients in higher education at a world–renowned university in Cambridge.

Duggan’s primary responsibilities will include expanding and developing existing accounts within Building Automation and Energy Services by creatively identifying new ways to meet client and industry needs. Redfern will manage, maintain, and lead the customer service team’s approach to client relationships.

Before joining Siemens, Duggan worked as director of business development at Energy Source and director of energy services at AKF Group. She also was the assistant director of sustainability and energy management at Harvard Business School.

Previously, Redfern was director of operations and account management for Distech Controls Strategic Accounts Team. He also served as director of operations for Schneider Electrics Data Center Solutions.

Duggan currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy; she is one of only 12 people appointed to this position by Governor Charlie Baker. She was also the first woman inducted into the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Athletic Hall of Fame.

Redfern currently serves as a member of the Association of Energy Engineers.

Duggan and Redfern join a consistently growing Siemens footprint in the Greater Boston region, as Siemens currently has more than 1,600 employees in the area and more than 10 facilities. The Building Technologies division includes more than 300 employees and five offices across Greater Boston. The branch is headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, with locations in the Seaport, Auburndale and New Bedford, Massachusetts, and Cranston, Rhode Island.
