RGB Personnel Announcements

Providence, RI – RGB Architects, based in Providence, R.I., and Taunton, Mass., announced additions to its architectural design staff.

Luis Contes

Luis Contes, Assoc. AIA, joined RGB Architects as intern architect. He is currently working on renovation projects for area school districts and design for reconstruction of Roger Williams Park Carriage House.

Rene Brakels

René Brakels joined RGB Architects as a job captain. He brings experience in residential, commercial, educational design, and urban planning projects completed in Europe, and is currently designing commercial and retail projects

for clients in several states.

Pedro Hernandez

Pedro Hernandez, Assoc. AIA, joined RGB Architects as an intern architect. He is currently part of RGB’s design team for a new public safety complex in North Providence.

The company also announced that Frederick Love, AIA, formerly a long-term employee of RGB, is now working with the company as a historic consultant. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the field of preservation and has worked as an independent consultant since 2001. Notable projects include Franklin Court in Philadelphia, the Rhode Island Supreme Court Building, Manchester Street Power Station, and Providence City Hall.
