Kaestle Boos Promotes Four

Larry Trim

New Britain, CT – Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc., recently announced the promotion of Luke McCoy, PLA, LEED AP to Associate Principal; Lawrence Trim, AIA and Nicole Green to Associate, and the addition of Senior Architect Sean Schmigle, AIA to the firm.

 

Luke McCoy

Luke McCoy joined Kaestle Boos in 2016 as an associate and director of the landscape architecture studio. His more than fifteen years of experience in the design of athletic fields and leadership in the expansion of the landscape design portfolio made him a natural fit for the current promotion of Associate Principal. In this role, he will continue to lead Kaestle Boos’ landscape architecture studio, taking an active role in the firm’s technical expertise, business development, marketing, and employee development.

Mr. McCoy’s expertise includes athletic field design including synthetic turf and natural grass fields. He is a licensed landscape architect, registered in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as a LEED accredited professional. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, American Sports Builder Association as well as the Synthetic Turf Council where he currently sits on the Board of Directors.

Larry Trim has nearly 30 years of architectural design and project management experience. A registered architect in all six New England states, Mr. Trim has been with Kaestle Boos for more than 12 years. Specializing in K-12 and higher education facility planning and project management, his recent project experience includes the new Minuteman Vocational High School in Lexington, MA, and the new Barrington Middle School in Barrington, RI. He is a member of the AIA and SCUP and serves on the Board of Directors of the RI Chapter of the ACE Mentor Program and the Thundermist Health Centers of Rhode Island.

Nicole Green

Nicole Green joined Kaestle Boos in 2006, bringing over 15 years of sales and business development experience. She transitioned from administrative and marketing assistance to the firm’s business development team where she has helped to cultivate new business opportunities and relationships. She is a member of SCUP and the Boston chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and is active in the Boston chapter of the ACE Mentor Program where she serves on the Student Outreach Committee

Sean Schmigle

Sean Schmigle joined Kaestle Boos in January 2018, as a Senior Architect, bringing over 12 years of experience with a focus on higher educational facility planning and design. A member of the AIA and SCUP, he will serve as a project manager on the firm’s K-12 and higher education projects and work with the business development team in the pursuit of new strategic opportunities. Prior to joining Kaestle Boos, Mr. Schmigle was with Brewster Thornton Group Architects and LLB Architects where he oversaw projects at Roger Williams University, Bryant University, and the Community College of Rhode Island.
