GNCB Names Brown President

Charles Brown

Old Saybrook, CT – GNCB Consulting Engineers, P.C. (GNCB) recently named Charles Brown, PE, its new president. Previously vice president, he replaces Kenneth Gibble, PE, who retired last December following 45 years of practice.

Brown brings with him over 35 years of experience as a structural engineer. His career includes the design and oversight of a multitude of projects including educational facilities, hospitals, and museums.

A few of his recent projects include the Cornell Law School Expansion in Ithaca, N.Y.; St. Katharine Drexel Chapel at Xavier University in New Orleans; the renovation of the Henry Ruthven Monteith Building at UConn’s Storrs Campus; the new Visitor’s Center at Hammonasset Beach, Conn; and the elevation of the Watch Hill Yacht Club in Westerly, R.I.
