Robert Gatenio
Boston – The Davis Companies (TDC) has announced that it will partner with former Colony NorthStar managing director, Robert Gatenio, broadening the company’s real estate debt investment activities.
Based in New York City, Gatenio will focus on sourcing, underwriting and acquiring discounted CMBS bonds, CRE debt securities, and related debt investment opportunities.
Gatenio previously served as a managing director and the co-head of investment management for Colony NorthStar. In that role, he helped grow the company from $7 billion to approximately $40 billion in assets under management and was directly responsible for acquisitions, dispositions and daily management across Colony NorthStar’s Healthcare, Real Estate Private Equity and Real Estate Debt business lines.
