Providence, RI – Recently, six Dimeo team members received certificates at ASHE Health Care Construction Certificate Workshop: Kosta Bitsis, LEED AP, V.P., special projects; Peter Beltz, MEP project manager; Anthony Dematteo, V.P., business development; Chris Doepper, LEED AP, sr. project manager; Mark Jaquith, project manager; and Chris Mazzulli, MEP superintendent.
The HCC Workshop combines an e-learning program and a two-day seminar that offers education on critical topics in healthcare construction, including: the healthcare planning, design, and construction process; Life Safety Code compliance; construction risk assessment; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP); medical gas systems; medical technology; communication; and project expectations.
Team members gained an understanding of the latest compliance issues in healthcare construction and learned what owners, staff, and patients expect of constructors working in the healthcare environment.
Also, three Dimeo team members achieved their AGC CM-BIM certification: Mark Bangs, CM-BIM, visual graphics and planning; Steve Depaola, CM-BIM, project manager; and Sharon Kastel, LEED AP, CM-BIM, project engineer
The AGC Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to BIM adoption, practice, legalities, and process transformation outlined in the four-unit AGC BIM Education Program.
Lastly, Dimeo project engineer, David Neto, recently passed the Mass. Construction Supervisors License exam.
