Lincoln, RI – Christopher R. Cronin, a senior associate at BETA Group, Inc., was recently sworn in as president for the 2017-2018 term of the Providence Engineering Society, the oldest professional engineering society in the United States.

Cronin has worked in consulting for 26 years. He has spent most of that time in the environmental arena, working at BETA on projects throughout New England since 2000.
Founded in 1894, the society offers engineers the opportunity to network, improve their technical skills, and socialize with fellow professionals.
