Columbia Promotes Stodden

North Reading, MA – Columbia Construction Company recently announced the promotion of David Stodden, LEED AP, to vice president of preconstruction and estimating. Columbia is a third-generation construction management firm celebrating its 90th year in the industry.

In his new role as vice president, Stodden will be responsible for the oversight of the company’s estimating and preconstruction departments.

He joined Columbia in 2002 as a superintendent and through the years has advanced through several roles, including estimator, preconstruction manager, director of virtual construction, and director of preconstruction services.

His recent accomplishments include overseeing the preconstruction and estimating efforts for the repositioning of 610 Lincoln Street for Hobbs Brook Management in Waltham, as well as Boston Scientific’s corporate headquarters relocation to Marlborough, that included renovations to an existing 50,000sf building and the construction of a new 115,000sf building pending LEED Silver certification.
