Aimee Couture
Lincoln, RI – BETA Group, Inc.’s Senior Marketing Manager Aimee Couture was recently given the 2018 Young Leader Award for the New England Chapter of the American Public Works Association (NEAPWA). The association serves professionals in all aspects of public works.
The Young Leader Award is given to a member who has demonstrated an initial commitment to the public works profession and the Chapter, and show potential for future growth within APWA. The award promotes the concept that length of career does not necessarily indicate leadership abilities or potential for service.
Couture has nine years of integrated marketing and communications experience, particularly in graphic communication, the implementation of social media tools, and website development and maintenance. She has generously volunteered her time to NEAPWA for nearly six years, acting as Newsletter Editor for four years and holding membership positions on the Public Works Awareness, Young Professional, and Website committees. Her work to create a broad presence online has assisted in membership growth, and has received recognition and awards by the national APWA.
