Springfield, MA – Fontaine Bros., Inc. has hired Dave Barksdale as their new director of Preconstruction Services. Barksdale will be involved in all stages of the firm’s Construction Manager at Risk projects.
His responsibilities will include overseeing the estimating, scheduling, phasing, and procurement of Fontaine’s CM at Risk portfolio of work.
In this role, Barksdale will be working side by side with David Fontaine Jr. and Fontaine’s project teams to further develop, strengthen, and bring constant improvement to the company’s operations as a construction manager.
Barksdale comes to Fontaine from Shawmut Design & Construction where he was part of the leadership group and responsible for overseeing the preconstruction process on many successful public and private projects.
