Robin Willcox
Boxford, MA – Ebbrell Architecture + Design, a certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise, announced that Robin Willcox, M. Arch., AIA, architect, recently earned her Commonwealth of Massachusetts license to practice architecture.
“Achieving licensure is a satisfying recognition of the substantial time, effort, and knowledge required to earn competence in the field,” said Willcox. “It is a later-than-customary accomplishment, after time spent at home raising children, and I’m proud to inspire others with similar histories,” she added.
Willcox has been with Ebbrell since 2016. Her work at the firm is primarily commercial interior fit-out projects. Miika Ebbrell, principal of Ebbrell Architecture + Design, said, “We’re so proud of and happy for Robin on achieving this huge accomplishment.”

Ebbrell noted that among Willcox’s skills is her attention to detail. “Robin’s ability to see a project down to the smallest design aspect, without losing the big picture, is a huge asset to clients. She has a thoughtful design vision, is attentive to the needs of the owner/client as well as the experiences of the end users, and it shows each time we deliver an outstanding finished project,” said Ebbrell.
Willcox spent 10 years on the town of Hamilton Planning Board, giving her expertise in public process, presentation, and policy. She began her career with Carr, Lynch, Hack, and Sandell in Cambridge, assisting on architectural, landscape design, and urban design projects.
