New Haven – Newman Architects announced the promotion of Paul Santos, AIA, to associate principal. He joined Newman in 2006.
He has over 20 years of experience, specializing in mixed-market, affordable housing, and passive house development.
Santos is currently leading a 114-unit project in the Hill Central neighborhood which will be one of New Haven’s first passive house developments, and a 126-unit project on Elm Street, New Haven’s first modular high-rise apartment building.
Notable Stamford projects include 523 Canal Street and the revitalization of the West Side neighborhood with more than 700 new units of mixed-market housing.
In the Black Rock area of Bridgeport, Santos completed Southwest Community Health Center – Albion Street, Connecticut’s first project to blend healthcare and affordable housing as a joint venture with the housing authority of the city.
