Andover, MA — Chapman Construction/Design has completed a new, 10,000-square-foot medical office for Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants, PC (IGIC), which provides GI care to the Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston areas. The project includes 4 procedure rooms, 5 exam rooms, 2 pre- and post-operative suites, and 2 nurses’ stations, with an entirely revamped layout designed to improve patient flow and access.
Chapman worked closely with IGIC’s facilities and leadership and Hardaway|Sziabowski Architects to reimagine the space, adding radius walls and soffits, recessed and accent lighting, and suspended wood cloud systems in the waiting area and nurses’ station. A detailed value-engineering exercise kept the project within budget without compromising quality.
