Bristol, CT – Wohlsen Construction Company recently celebrated the grand opening of KindCare’s new 5-story senior living community in Bristol.
“We are very proud to partner with KindCare and deliver this state-of-the-art facility. We are equally proud to be a team of all local construction managers. We raise our families in the communities where we work, and so we also endeavored to include as many local-area trade partners as possible. What drove our team was recognizing KindCare as part of an ongoing rebirth of downtown Bristol. We were thrilled to help revive the once vacant corner of North Main and Route 6,” stated Bob Labanara, Wohlsen’s senior director of development. “The Bristol community deserves a big win and opening 60,000sf of new assisted living and memory care space is one of them.”
The new community consists of 89 assisted living and 28 memory care units and was designed by EGA Architects. The community also features a common area, a main dining room, additional private dining areas, an arts and crafts area, and a media room.
KindCare at Bristol is currently accepting reservations for prospective residents.
