Lynn, MA — Global Protection Corp. has moved its headquarters into the former West Lynn Creamery, a 65,000-square-foot adaptive reuse designed by Maugel DeStefano Architects as architect of record. The manufacturer relocated from Boston’s Seaport District to the historic Lynn building, which now houses office, assembly, and distribution space.

Maugel DeStefano worked with the existing industrial shell to preserve the building’s utilitarian character while introducing new light and interior spatial hierarchies. Studio J.Jih designed the office interiors and workplace environment. Inside, a display of West Lynn Creamery artifacts and wall murals, including one featuring a dairy cow, nod to the building’s history.

“Architecturally, the project is about elevating the everyday,” said Riaan Kotze, architect at Maugel DeStefano Architects. “We worked with the existing industrial shell to create a space that feels both grounded and forward-looking, preserving the building’s utilitarian character while introducing light and new spatial hierarchies.”
