East Providence, RI – Providence Business News has named Starkweather and Shepley Insurance Brokerage Inc. (S&S), vice president Theresa D’Orsi, as an honoree of its 2022 Business Women Awards Program.
This year’s awards program recognized 30 women. This program honors the success of women in a variety of industries (including health care, legal, accounting, and social services, among others), recognizing younger, professional women to watch as well as experienced industry leaders.
“Women are still very underrepresented in the construction industry,” D’Orsi said. However, “mentorship can help close the gender gap in construction,” she continued.
