Rocky Hill, CT – Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC) recently announced that two member companies won national honors during the annual awards celebration in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
National Diversity Excellence Award Winners:
Small and Emerging Contractor Category: Diversity Construction Group of Cheshire; and Supplier Category: United Rentals, Inc. of Stamford.
The winning projects, selected from entries submitted from across the nation, were judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety, and cost. The award honors all construction team members, including the contractor, owner, architect, and engineer.

The Excellence in Construction awards program is the industry’s leading competition that honors both general and specialty contractors for innovative and high-quality merit shop construction projects.
