Billerica, MA – Interstate Electrical Services Corporation has received an Excellence in Construction Award from the NH/VT Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors for the core construction and fit-out of a 343,000sf manufacturing facility for joint tenants and technology partners, Safran and Albany International (Albany Engineered Composites) in Rochester, N.H.
The two-story building, at 343,000sf, is nearly four football fields in length and one football field wide.
Interstate installed 45 miles of conduit and 250 miles of wire from the six 2,400 amp services that power the building.
Interstate was awarded the project by Florida-based general contractor Haskell Construction, also an ABC member, who reached out to the NH/VT Chapter in its search for a local electrical subcontractor capable of handling a project of this size and scope.
