Yarmouth, MA – NEI General Contracting recently held a grand opening for its latest project, The Mill Hill Residence in West Yarmouth, with owner-operator Maplewood Senior Living and owner-developer Omega Healthcare Investors.
The $16 Million Memory Care Facility is part of the Maplewood at Mayflower campus, an award-winning, full service continuing care retirement community.
The 17-month project involved the construction of a 62,329sf, two-story steel-framed LEED Certifiable building. Mill Hill Residence was built on the site of the former iconic Mill Hill Club, a popular Cape Cod music venue which had been demolished in 2014.
Stein Troost Architecture designed the community with a nautical, Cape Cod aesthetic boasting amenities such as an open-kitchen and display dining venues, bistros, Wellness Center, Acai Spa & Salon, and libraries and stone fireplaces throughout.
Additionally, the community features water views, courtyards, and a walking trail. Services for the 75-unit residence will include assisted living, memory care, and additional support for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
