Waterbury, CT – DBVW Architects reported that the first six of 16 new buildings have now been completed at the Davis Gardens affordable housing development. Families that were displaced from the former Warner Gardens Co-Op Apartments were the first to occupy these apartments.

It is expected that all 58 Phase 1 units will be fully occupied by the end of September. Connecticut Housing Finance Authority Board Chairwoman and Department of Housing (DOH) Commissioner Evonne M. Klein said, “These kinds of developments embody what Connecticut is working hard to achieve: fostering the creation of inclusive and diverse communities in all areas of the state.”
