Rockridge courtyard
Beverly, MA – DMS design, llc recently completed the expansion and renovation to the Rockridge Retirement Community, a Deaconess Abundant Life Community.
DMS provided architectural design and construction administration services for the project, which added 15 memory support units, 25 independent living affordable apartment units, kitchen and dining facilities, and a courtyard to the Northampton campus.
The existing building was renovated and expanded by 10,350sf into The Gardens, a 15-suite unit dedicated to memory support residents. Renovations included upgrades to bathrooms, flooring, paint, and lighting. The new upper two levels consist of 25 independent living apartments, a country kitchen, and dining and laundry rooms in a combined 20,000sf.
All 25 apartments are designated as affordable senior living, open to senior citizens over age 62 with moderate incomes.
