The new 52,000sf facility, colloquially referred to as ‘The Jo,’ will offer a new home to campus recreation through a wide range of fitness and wellness spaces, including sports courts, weight rooms, a golf simulator, three rooms for yoga, cycling and fitness, and a one-tenth-mile suspended jogging track overlooking Worcester.

The three-story facility will also be home to club and intramural sports and house an expanded office for public safety. The vending machines are also getting an upgrade and will offer all-healthy options. The Jo is slated for completion by fall 2020.

We look forward to the safe and successful completion of the project next summer!” stated Scott Eaton, Dimeo senior project manager.

“Today we celebrate side by side with College of the Holy Cross, Cannon Design and their partners, Skanska, the trade contractor workforce, the student body, and numerous other stakeholders as we top off the superstructure of this amazing facility,” Eaton added.
