“The renovations to the individual apartments provide needed repairs and improvements, and the upgrades in overall building systems, including plumbing and heating, will benefit all the residents at Putnam Gardens. CTA Construction is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Cambridge Housing Authority and Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc. Architects in undertaking this important project on behalf of its residents,” said Paul DuRoss, project executive for CTA.

In addition to work inside the units, the project includes installation of a new sprinkler system throughout the three-building complex, the replacement of the entire plumbing system for the complex including new water lines connecting to the city water mains, a new boiler plant, site upgrades, and the construction of four waste management sheds.

The project also includes repairs to the roof to extend the manufacturer’s warranty.
