SMPS Connecticut Announces 2021 Board

Hartford, CT – The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Connecticut Chapter announced the board of directors for the 2020/2021 program year, which began September 1

Alicia Mojica Washington, director of marketing for HRP Associates, Inc., is the Chapter’s 2020/2021 president.  She served as SMPS CT’s president-elect for the 2019/2020 program year and leads the Chapter’s diversity and inclusion task force.

Marta Dabrowski, CPSM, a marketing coordinator with WSP USA Inc., returns to the board as president-elect.

Nichole Petersen, director of marketing for Flow Tech, Inc., returns to the SMPS CT board this year as immediate past-president. 

SMPS CT welcomes Julia DeFrances to the board as treasurer. A marketing coordinator at BL Companies. She has been a member of SMPS since 2013, serving as co-chair for the sponsorship committee and as a member of the newly created education committee.

Cynthia Colón joins the board as secretary. A marketing coordinator at QA+M Architecture, she joined the A/E/C industry and SMPS in 2019.

Lucas J. Glendening, marketing manager for Turner Construction Company’s Connecticut Business Unit, joins the board as a director.

George L. Jacobs, of KS Engineers, returns to the board for a second year as a director.

Jocelyn Taylor, marketing coordinator at BL Companies, returns to the board as a director this year. A five-year SMPS CT member, she’s the recipient of the 2018/2019 Trail Blazer Award and will lead the Communications Committee as chair for the 2020/2021 program year.

Patrick Delany, marketing and preconstruction director for O&G Industries’ Building Group, joins the board as a director.
