The 66-unit condominium development will consist of duplex-style residences offering either ranch or two-story design. Both options are designed with an open concept to accommodate modern demands among the 55-plus community, such as two-car garages, first-floor master suite and laundry, guest bedroom-bath suite, and the option to upgrade to a finished basement.
Highland Ridge is situated close to I-290 and sits at the intersection of Highland Street, Route 62 and Interstate I-495. Elite Home Builders, is affiliated with Casa Builders & Developers. Just 15 minutes’ drive from Berlin, construction is underway on 26 units at Wyman Farms in Shrewsbury. In the past, Casa Builders’ first 55-plus community project involved 100 units at Orchard Hill in Westborough.
At Highland Ridge, Elite has managed the pre-construction process during the COVID-19 pandemic and will practice social distancing guidelines throughout the development’s construction and sales process, according to its recent report. Contractors will have staggered work schedules to limit contact, and site walks will be hosted with social distance protocol.
