Lynnfield, MA – JM Electrical Company, Inc. announced that it recently completed project operations on a 10-story, 541,000sf multi-use development at 60 Binney Street in Kendall Square.

The company installed a complete temperature control system in the building’s office space as well as controls in its laboratory spaces.
Developed by Alexandria Real Estate Equities and designed by Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, the Class A lab and office building will house the new headquarters for both Genzyme Corporation, which will be occupying 251,000sf of space, and Bluebird Bio, which will be occupying 253,000sf.
The ground floor will contain retail opportunities. Other amenities include an underground parking garage with car-share service, on-site bike parking, and shower facilities for bike commuters. The building has convenient access to both Green and Red Line MBTA stops, as well as EZRide shuttle service.
JM’s team of four electricians worked throughout the multimonth duration of the project to ensure the project was completed on time and on budget.
