Ground Broken on $40M Production Facility in Connecticut

Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont joined TRUMPF, Tecton, and BBE for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Farmington, CT – Bartlett Brainard Eacott, Inc. (BBE) announced it broke ground on TRUMPF’s new production facility on March 9.

TRUMPF, a German-owned company, produces high-tech laser cutting, bending and welding machinery. When completed in May of 2024, the $40-million, 55,800sf project will be home to a complete smart factory, TRUMPF’s second in the U.S.

“We are looking forward to partnering with TRUMPF and continuing our mission to grow manufacturing in Connecticut,” said BBE president and CEO, Thomas Panczner.

BBE is working with architectural firms Tecton Architects and Barkow Leibinger on the project.
