Bridgeport, CT — KBE Building Corporation has begun construction on a new waterfront Residence Inn by Marriott at Steelpointe Harbor in Bridgeport, serving as construction manager at risk for the hospitality development.
Part of the mixed-use Steelpointe Harbor development, the extended-stay hotel will feature 142 guestrooms, ground-floor amenity spaces, and an exterior sports court, designed to provide guests with a modern and engaging hospitality experience. Located along the city’s revitalized waterfront in Bridgeport’s harbor district, the hotel is designed to meet the growing demand for accommodations in the region, supporting both business and leisure travelers while enhancing Bridgeport’s hospitality offerings.

Upon completion, the Residence Inn will reintroduce hotel lodging to Bridgeport for the first time since 2022. The development represents KBE’s third project at Steelpointe Harbor, building on a partnership that includes The August apartment community and the Steelpointe Car Wash.
