Cranston, RI – DiPrete Engineering announced the promotion of three team members in recognition of their leadership, technical expertise, and continued contributions to the firm’s growth and long-term success.
Jonathan W. Sheppard has been selected for inclusion in DiPrete Engineering’s Executive Leadership Program (ELP). As a project engineer, he works with engineers and project managers on conceptual site planning, due diligence, engineering design, regulatory permitting, and construction support for a wide range of projects. He joined the firm in 2021, and his experience includes stormwater management design, drainage analysis, hydraulic modeling, and preparation of regulatory submissions at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition, he leads the firm’s onboarding program and has played a key role in advancing internal operations through continuous improvement initiatives.
Matthew Insana, PLS has also been promoted into the ELP. He joined the firm in 2004 and brings more than two decades of experience in surveying, land development support, and project coordination throughout New England. A senior survey project manager, Insana oversees the preparation of complex land surveys and coordinates closely with engineering staff and clients to support commercial, mixed-use, and redevelopment projects. He is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Rhode Island and New York. In addition to his technical leadership, he is a mentor within the Survey group.
Louis Barone III, P.E. has been promoted to project manager. He joined DiPrete Engineering in 2021 and brings extensive experience in site and structural engineering, working on medium- and large-scale residential and commercial developments while guiding clients through complex regulatory and permitting processes. In addition, he plays an active role in public meetings, construction coordination, mentoring staff, and supporting the firm’s internship and outreach efforts. As an associate in the ELP, he also leads the firm’s networking initiative, helping to strengthen external relationships and support strategic growth.
