Elaine Construction Announces Promotion, New Hire

Newton, MA – Elaine Construction announced the promotion of Kris Leonard to executive vice president of preconstruction and planning, and the addition of Kelly O’Connor as business development manager.

Leonard joined Elaine Construction in 2012 as director of preconstruction and estimating, bringing with him decades of experience in construction management across institutional, cultural, and commercial sectors nationwide. In his expanded role as executive vice president, he will provide strategic leadership across all preconstruction and planning operations, playing a central role in the firm’s continued growth and the delivery of exceptional preconstruction services to Elaine’s clients.

O’Connor brings over five years of experience in business development, marketing, and client relations within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, with deep familiarity across the life sciences, corporate, and healthcare sectors. She joins Elaine from STV, where she served as director of business development focused on expanding the firm’s project management practice throughout New England. In her new role, she will lead business development efforts across Elaine’s core market sectors including institutional, corporate, life sciences, and healthcare working to deepen existing client relationships and identify new opportunities throughout the New England market.
