Work Begins on Baystate Veterinary Clinic Project

Swansea, MA – Downes Construction Company recently announced the commencement of the Baystate Veterinary Clinic project, which involves the repurposing of an existing office building into a modern and inclusive veterinary clinic. Key components involve a comprehensive remodel of the first floor, creating patient exam rooms, a cutting-edge surgery suite, and specialized areas tailored to cater to a diverse range of animal species, including exotic pets.

The building, including the proposed linear accelerator addition, is poised to offer a square footage of 38,615sf. N|E|M|D Architects has been enlisted to bring Baystate Vet Clinic’s vision to life. Pare Corporation will offer civil engineering services; E.D.S INC will handle MEP engineering; and C.A. Pretzer Associates INC will provide structural engineering.
