Wentworth Offers Master of Science in Facility Management

Boston – Beginning in September 2014, Wentworth Institute of Technology will offer its Master of Science in Facility Management in a fully online format in addition to the current on-campus format.  This represents the third fully online degree program for the Institute.  Both the on-campus and online formats will continue to be offered part-time to appeal to working adults.

The new online program format provides the same high-quality curriculum as the on-campus version, and also maintains a small student to faculty ratio to emphasize personalized attention and encourage peer to peer learning.  In addition, online students in the program will have access to all of the same resources as their on-campus counterparts.

The Master of Science in Facility Management program is designed for those who wish to manage and lead within the facilities management profession, providing students with rigorous training in post-graduate management principles within the context of the facilities environment.  Graduates of the program will be prepared for leadership roles in facility management and related industries.  Research shows facility management professionals are in demand now more than ever, with 65 to 70 % of facility managers expected to retire in the next five to 10 years.
