Providence, RI – Work was recently completed at United Natural Foods Inc.’s (UNFI) headquarters, an independent distributor of natural, organic, and specialty foods, in Providence.
DBVW Architects of Providence was the designer for the original headquarters (completed in 2008) as well as this current expansion, a 30,000sf commercial fit-out.
The new expansion adds open, collaborative workstations, traditional private offices, shared hoteling spaces, informal touchdown spaces, multiple flexible conference rooms, a seminar room and an employee café. A combination of modern furniture and natural finishes evoke UNFI’s company mission and values, and the project has been designed to achieve a Silver certification in LEED for Commercial Interiors.
