Carver, MA – The town of Carver and CTA Construction recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Carver Elementary School project.
The new school is being constructed adjacent to the existing school buildings, which will remain fully operational for the duration of the two-year $37 million project.
Matthew Kaye, project manager at CTA Construction, said, “CTA is pleased to work jointly with our partners in Carver, including HMFH Architects and PMA Consultants, to build a state-of-the-art school that will serve students, faculty, and families in the community for decades to come.”
In addition to the construction, two new wells will be brought online and connected to the two existing school buildings, along with a new water treatment system. The new building will be energy efficient and Northeast CHPS-verified.
Building completion is scheduled for the summer of 2018 with final site improvements, including the playing fields and play areas, in late fall 2018.
