The Builder Coalition Hosts First-ever Capital Investors Summit

Boston — The Builder Coalition (TBC) hosted its first-ever Capital Investors Summit on Sept. 24 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, bringing together 163 attendees from across the country including 71 capital providers and 53 developers, for a day of deal-making, learning, and collaboration aimed at transforming access to real estate capital.

Designed as both a live marketplace and strategic forum, the summit facilitated direct matchmaking between developers and capital providers, enabling participants to identify, discuss, and advance new financing opportunities. Early results from post-event surveys show significant outcomes: Capital providers reported that approximately $16 million in new financing is expected to occur as a result of connections made at the summit, with an estimated range of $9.5 million to $23 million in total potential investments. This represents an average of $1.1 million in new financing per capital provider.

“The impact of the Capital Investors Summit has been extraordinary,” said Dave Madan, executive director of The Builder Coalition. “Getting the right people in the room created an environment where collaboration turned into real opportunity. Seeing more than $16 million in new financing already in motion shows the power of intentionally designed connection and it’s just the beginning.”

The event featured 15 sponsoring capital providers who hosted networking tables during the matchmaking breakfast, alongside a robust lineup of learning sessions showcasing innovative equity, debt, and guarantee funds. Participants provided positive feedback regarding the summit’s format, deeming it one of its most valuable aspects, praising the personalized introductions and the authenticity of the conversations. Developers reported scheduling 45 follow-up meetings and 10 site visits with capital providers to continue advancing potential deals and explore long-term partnerships. Plans are currently underway for next year’s summit.
