ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston to Host Annual Industry Networking Event in June

Boston — The ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston will host its annual Networking and Fundraising Event on Thursday, June 4 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Artists for Humanity. The event is designed to bring together professionals from across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry for an evening of meaningful connection, industry engagement, and support for the next generation of talent.

Now in its 19th year, ACE Greater Boston introduces high school students to careers in the built environment through its free, after-school mentoring program. During the 2025–2026 program year, 158 students from 39 high schools across the Greater Boston area completed the program, working alongside industry professionals on a real-world design project.

The 2025–2026 program year also marked a major milestone, with ACE Greater Boston awarding $279,000 in scholarships to 32 seniors at its annual Student Showcase – the highest total to date. Since 2015, ACE Greater Boston has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships, made possible through the continued support of industry partners and individual donors.

ACE Greater Boston’s work is supported by a broad network of industry partners, including Boylston Properties, Cambridge Savings Bank, Gilbane Building Company, Needham Bank, Outdoor Perspective, PIDC, Procopio Companies, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH), Skanska, SMMA, Stantec, Timberline Construction, and Turner Construction, among many others. Proceeds from the June 4 event directly support ACE Greater Boston’s year-round programming and student scholarships, ensuring the program remains free and accessible to high school students across the region.

“As we celebrate another year for ACE Greater Boston, our community continues to play a vital role in expanding opportunities for high school students,” said Kristen Hurley, executive director. “This event brings together industry partners who are not only supporting students, but actively helping shape the future of the architecture, construction, and engineering workforce. The support generated through this event allows us to sustain and grow the program each year.”

“The future of the architecture, construction, and engineering industries depends on the talent we invest in today. ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston is creating meaningful pathways for students to explore these careers through hands-on mentorship, real-world experiences, and critical scholarship support. As ACE continues to reach new milestones, we’re proud to stand behind a program that is not only shaping individual student success stories, but helping build a stronger, more diverse workforce for our industry’s future,” said Justin MacEachern, VP business leader at Gilbane Building Company and ACE Mentor Program of Greater Boston board member and Fundraising Committee co-chair.
