QA Selected to Design North Stonington Schools $38M Upgrade

Farmington, CT – Quisenberry Arcari (QA) Architects was recently selected by the town of North Stonington’s selection committee to design its $38.56 million schools upgrade project.

The project includes a 44,500sf addition to the Wheeler Middle/High School, demolition of part of the middle
school, the addition of a kitchen to North Stonington Elementary School, and moving the sixth-grade students to the elementary school.

Other aspects of the project include addressing health and HAZMAT concerns, updating technology, and addressing security and safety issues. Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2017.
