Falmouth, MA – Associates of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions teamed up to participate in the Asics Falmouth Road Race, held on August 15 raising more than $4,000 for the organization.
Participating runners that comprised Team NHS included Christopher Fleser, Emily Hall, Pat Neenan, and Sarah Collard.
The 49th annual road race was back on track this year and in-person after being held virtually in 2020 due to the pandemic. A limited 8,000 in-person runners ran the seven-mile Cape Cod course with an additional 3,000 registered runners completing the seven miles virtually over the course of two Saturdays in August.
The Falmouth Road Race was established in 1973 and draws an international field of Olympians and elite, and recreational runners out to enjoy the iconic seven-mile seaside course. Proceeds from the race benefit local organizations through donations, scholarships, grants, and sponsorships.
