Providence, RI – Shawmut Design and Construction’s James Koloski has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The VETS Memorial Foundation. In this role,he oversees the vision, governance and fundraising for Veterans Memorial Auditorium,that holds a unique place in the cultural life of Rhode Island. He also chairs the Marketing Committee.
Koloski’s work will center on such topics as maintaining the theater’s flawless acoustics, breathtaking proscenium stage and exquisite interior. The facility also boasts a one-of-a-kind ceiling featuring the shields of Rhode Island’s original 39 communities.
Koloski is also a director at Shawmut Design and Construction, where he leads client service for projects throughout Rhode Island including work at the International Tennis Hall of Fame,Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, Taco and many other corporations and instructions.
