Breaking ground for the new chapel
Boston- A ground breaking ceremony was held recently for the new chapel, Our Lady of Good Voyage located at 51 Seaport Boulevard. The project will be comprised of a new single story 5,500sf chapel that includes a choir loft and the relocation of a church organ.
The project team consists of the Archdiocese of Boston as the project owners; Boston Global Investors, developing the property for the Archdiocese; Stantec (former ADD Inc.) will be the architect of record for the core and shell portion of the project along with Cram & Ferguson of Concord as the project architect for interior design. Tishman Construction will serve as the general contractor and Vanderweil Engineers will complete the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology and security engineering for the new chapel.
The anticipated completion date for the chapel is late 2015.
