Seacoast Residences includes a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and offers residents a range of amenities housed in a single-story clubhouse. They include a fitness center, outdoor pool, kitchenette, leasing offices, conference room, and package storage room. Most of the parking is uncovered at grade, with five wood-framed garages offering 30 spaces.

Matthew Wheaton, executive vice president of DEW Construction, said, “It has been an absolute privilege to collaborate with Jones Street Investment Partners on the Seacoast Residences project, where we aimed to seamlessly blend luxury and convenience for the residents of Southern Maine. What began as a mere concept on paper has now blossomed into a stunning reality that the entire team, including architects, engineers, and all our trade partners, can take immense pride in.”

In addition to this project, DEW Construction is currently overseeing the construction of One25 Cambrian Way, a multi-family housing development in downtown Burlington, Vt., in collaboration with Scott Ireland Development. This development, featuring views of Lake Champlain, comprises 117 units spread across six levels, with two levels dedicated to underground parking. Slated for completion in fall 2024, the building features four levels of apartments available for rent, including studio, one-, and two-bedroom options. Levels five and six feature condo-style units available for purchase.

Additionally, DEW Properties and The Braverman Company are partnering with Evernorth and Twin Pines Housing Trust to construct Riverwalk Apartments, a new 4-story, wood-framed apartment building in White River Junction, Vt. Offering views of the Connecticut River, the development aims to deliver 42 units of affordable housing, complete with amenities and parking. It is scheduled for completion in spring 2024.

DEW is also in the final stages of completing The Marek South in Lebanon, N.H., a 239,200 GSF multi-family housing complex developed by Saxon Partners. The building was designed to cater to the needs of medical professionals, given its proximity to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Comprising two 4-story buildings connected by a 2-story amenity building, The Marek South offers a total of 250 market-rate residential units. Its amenities include a fitness facility and wellness studio, SkyDeck and lounge, outdoor spa, multiple resident lounges equipped with a bar and kitchen amenities, co-working spaces, a game room and media lounge, and a dog washing station. Environmental preservation was a priority during construction, with efforts made to conserve existing trails, wildlife corridors, and wetlands in the surrounding area. The entire building is constructed over a podium, providing parking spaces underneath along with locker storage for tenants. The project is on track for a May 2024 completion.

“We are actively advancing numerous housing projects at varying stages of completion, with approximately 450 units in our pipeline. The demand for housing is evident, and we’re actively addressing it,” said Wheaton. “While the residential sector is flourishing, our portfolio is diverse, encompassing several ongoing projects across various market sectors, each at different stages of development, with several projects in the preconstruction phase.”
