Williston, VT — DEW Construction announced the promotion of two key team members.
Dakota Stender, based in the company’s Williston, Vt. office, has been promoted from project manager to senior project manager. Since joining DEW nearly five years ago, the firm’s representatives say that he has played a crucial role in delivering multiple high-profile, successful projects throughout the region, and he consistently leads teams through complex construction challenges with confidence and clarity.
In his expanded role, Stender will oversee the planning and execution of DEW’s more technically challenging projects, from preconstruction through closeout. He will continue mentoring project management staff while ensuring quality, schedule adherence, safety performance, cost control, and client satisfaction.
Based out of DEW’s Portland, Maine office, Brad Roy has been promoted from estimator to senior estimator. Since joining DEW in 2023, the company’s representatives say he has strengthened the preconstruction team, and he consistently delivers accurate, analytical, and thorough estimates. His work has supported informed decision-making for DEW’s clients and project teams in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
In his new role, Roy will continue maintaining strong client relationships while expanding his leadership within the preconstruction team. His responsibilities will include generating new subcontractor engagement, preparing detailed estimates, developing thorough scopes of work, and coordinating DEW’s overall estimating efforts.
