Boston – Shawmut Design and Construction announced it participated in the 2023 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), marking the 16th consecutive year the firm has partaken in the two-day bike-a-thon in Massachusetts. This year, Team Shawmut has raised almost $100,000 and counting, accumulating over $2 million in total fundraising to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Team Shawmut, which includes CEO Les Hiscoe and Shawmut employee-owners, friends, and family, rode in the 44th Pan-Mass Challenge with over 6,000 other riders to increase awareness and raise funds for cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

“This was a very special year for Team Shawmut having achieved the $2 million fundraising mark over the course of our 16-year partnership,” said Hiscoe. “Every year, I am humbled by the support our team receives, and I am proud to continue our tradition of supporting the PMC year-after-year to raise funds to support the important fight against cancer.”
