Boston – Employees in Turner Construction Company’s offices around the world have joined forces with charities and organizations through community service in celebration of the company’s 117th anniversary, which occurred May 3.
Turner employees throughout the world set out to make a difference in communities through a wide range of activities including repairing homes, cleaning parks, preparing and delivering meals to the elderly, cooking food for veterans, feeding the homeless, working with kids with cancer, and many other rewarding activities.
In Massachusetts more than 200 Turner volunteers donated their time and energy at fifteen different organizations over the course of five weeks. As part of their volunteer efforts, Turner employees participated in a variety of activities including building a backyard tree house, preparing and serving meals, organizing toy and donation drives, and other cleaning and renovation projects.
