Homewood Suites rendering
Brookline, MA – Tocci Building Companies is under way with a 97,775sf, 130-room Homewood Suites Hotel in Brookline. The site is in an urban location surrounded by Route 9.
The project architect is Group One Partners, Inc.
Tocci converted the design to 3D (BIM), sequencing every building element to determine the optimal execution and plan for every challenge posed by the site, which was a former brownfield remediated before construction.
The hotel has a pool with a terrace. An additional terrace will be located off of the lobby, and a green room will be designed on the upper level. The building includes a white roof, which will reduce heat absorption.
The project began in July 2014 and is slated for completion in the winter of 2016.
