Wright-Ryan Promotes Several

Portland, ME – Wright-Ryan Construction, one of Maine’s largest construction management firms, recently promoted several of its long-standing employees.

Tom Carey was promoted to Project Manager from Assistant Project Manager. Tom was a CM major at Orono and started working with Wright-Ryan when he graduated in 2003 as a Project Engineer. He is currently overseeing the construction of the Maine Street Station Inn in Brunswick and is the ongoing Project Manager for Maine College of Art. Tom is originally from Bangor, Maine.

John Moynihan was promoted to Assistant Project Manager from Project Engineer. John graduated from University of Vermont in 2001 and spent two years designing custom yacht interiors before taking a job as Superintendent with Pulte Homes in Florida. We hired John as a Project Engineer in 2007 and he quickly became an invaluable member of the Project Management team. John sits on the executive committee and the Board of Directors of the USGBC Maine Chapter.

Rob Barrett was promoted to Superintendent. Rob began working at Wright-Ryan as a Field Carpenter in May 2007 while completing his CM degree at the University of Southern Maine. He was promoted to a Project Engineering position in September 2007. Currently Rob is the Superintendent on the UNE Lab project. Rob is originally from Portland, Maine.
