Boston, MA – Shawmut Design and Construction has announced a partnership with the Andover Area Office of the US Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to enhance worker safety and health during the construction of the $56 million Wayland High School expansion and modernization project.
The partnership will allow Shawmut to provide OSHA’s construction safety courses employees and subcontractors, implement an on-going site safety audit program, and facilitate training on the safe operation of materials handling equipment.
The Wayland High School expansion and modernization project is currently one of two OSHA partnerships out of the Andover Area Office.
