Boston – Michael Willett, LEED AP has joined Gilbane Building Co. as Senior Project Executive.
Willett served as project executive and director of sustainable development for William A. Berry.
His healthcare project experience includes successfully directing multiple facilities in Boston’s Longwood Medical Area, including the construction of the 350,000sf Brigham and Women’s Hospital Shapiro Cardiovascular Center from preconstruction to occupancy. He also oversaw the $250 million Bay State Medical Center’s 630,000sf Hospital of the Future from preconstruction through core and shell.
Willett specializes in the application of BIM modeling technology on complex healthcare and bioscience buildings. He also has significant experience in conceptual scheduling, process design and construction, conceptual cost modeling, and cost estimating expertise from concept to claim analysis levels.
