Vision 3 Architects Celebrates Collette Vacations New Wellness Center

Pawtucket, Vision 3 Architects celebrated Collette Vacations ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 20th of the new Wellness Center at 192 Middle Street in Pawtucket, RI. Designed by Vision 3 Architects, the new 4,620 s.f. facility offers two floors of exercise areas and amenities for use by Collette’s employees. Collette Vacations has offices in two buildings adjacent to this new building in a commercial area along the Blackstone River. The Fitness Center, in Pawtucket’s Riverfront District, is adjacent to the route 95 interstate and the surrounding residential neighborhood. The wood frame building is designed to complement the surrounding residential neighborhood. Meehan Builders, Inc. was the general contractor.

“Collette Vacations knew Vision 3 Architects would be the right partner in designing our wellness center since they did such great work when we restored the 180 Middle Street mill building,” said Dan Sullivan, Jr., President and CEO of Collette Vacations. “They will help confirm our focus to promote active living for our team as every employee’s overall health and well-being is our utmost importance.”

Collette chose to build a wellness center based on results from a company survey. The survey revealed an overwhelming response rate of 85% when asked if employees would be interested in utilizing a wellness center if one were built. The company also recognized that continuing to concentrate on improving the health and quality of its employees’ lives will in turn enhance their productivity and competitiveness. The new facility currently has over 140 members.
