United HVAC Promotes Lannan

Rockland, MA – United HVAC  announced Adam Lannan has been promoted to vice president of operations.

In his new role, Lannan will be leading the company’s day-to-day operations as he will be responsible for managing senior staff in the field and shop, as well as mentoring junior project managers and office staff, many of whom have recently joined the company. He will also continue to work with senior company leaders to help pave the path for company growth and expansion within the industry.

Lannan has had an extensive career in the HVAC industry spanning three decades. At United HVAC, he is currently managing the Resilience Lab project in Marlborough.

“Adam has proven to be a valuable asset to our organization. His broad knowledge of the industry is well complemented by his skill to pay attention to the intricate details in our field,” said Thomas Scolaro, president, United HVAC.

In 1994, Lannan was accepted into the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 17 as an apprentice. He became a field foreman in 1999. In 2011, he became a project manager for Walsh Mechanical Contractors, managing projects ranging from high end client office fit out, critical data rooms, boiler room change outs, to lab and animal care facilities for clients such as Bluebird Bio and Agios.
